The parish church of Bousés is, along with the churches of Vilaza and Flariz, one of the most beautiful in the valley of Monterrei. Constructed in the XVIII century it presents a symbiosis between Renaissance and Baroque styles that shine in its own splendour, es-pecially in the stylized pinnacles that mark the sky. The most outstanding is the bell-tower, which is placed in front of the facade to create a porticoed area; divided into three sections, the first of which displays a stone balcony; on it another ironwork balcony and the third is finished in an octagonal cupola surrounded by angular pinnacles. The church is surrounded by a stone wall that houses the parish cemetery.
